Hi I’ve had progression on leterzol and Ibrance, so swapping to fulestarant. Did anyone continue with Ibrance in this situation? If so, did it still pack a punch?

Ibrance continue on 2nd line?
Like you , I was on Ibrance and Letrozole. Then, Letrozole was swapped for Fulvestrant. So, now it is Ibrance and Fulvestrant. And Xgeva injections every 3 months.
I have only been on Ibrance and Fulvestrant and it definitely packs a punch! For me, it got me to NED after 15 months and I will remain on it hopefully for quite a while 🙏🏻 before there is any progression that would cause a change in treatment. Hoping this combo works well for you. Big virtual hug.
Thanks- I’ve been on it but as I’m changing from leterzol to fulvesterant I have possibly of staying on Ibrance too but wasn’t sure if this was the norm ?
Hi there, I don't think it's the norm but I think it's a good option, the idea being to eek out as much bang as poss from the Palbo before a new treatment - I think they call it line extension. Good luck with it!
Hi, I am on a trial in the UK of Palbociclib and Fulvestrant after getting progression after 4 years on Palbo and Letrozole. Have only done 4 months so far, so early days- but worth a shot! (Excuse the pun!)

I’m on Ibrance and Faslodex after more lung nodules found three months ago in PET scan. Onc switched me from Arimidex to Faslodex and will find out in two weeks (PET) if working. The protocol in US is to stay with CDK but try different hormone blocker until progression. Onc says next step will be chemo. Good luck with your new treatment!
I wondered that, too. I was on Fulvestrant and Ibrance, and when I had progression (slight), onc. said Fulvestrant failed, not Ibrance. I find that puzzling: didn't both fail? In any case, she took me off both. Now on a different aromatase inhibitor and a different CDK4/6 inhibitor. But I see here that the US standard of care is to remain on the CDK4/6.
