Seeking new oncologist

Good morning! I am in search of a new primary oncologist. REQUIREMENTS: accepts Medicare, open minded; PREFERENCES: Atlanta, Georgia area, integrative or functional MD, private practitioner with hospital privileges.

Good morning, Nocillo-Thanks for your reply! It’s not a requirement that the oncologist be in Atlanta, just a preference. Do you know an open minded oncologist who accepts Medicare? PREFERABLY (but not required) an integrative/functional medicine oncologist in private practice with hospital benefits. Any leads would be GREATLY appreciated.

I’m sorry I don’t. I just started with a new one at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. It’s very hard to know how to find a great doctor.

I would recommend Dr. Kristina Bowen with Georgia Cancer Specialists in Atlanta. She is very open (not integrative) and her group takes most Medicare plans. I really like her as she provides quality care, answers all my questions and explains things well. Good luck with your search.
