Leterzol brand- uk

Hi I’ve been in leterzol in the UK a on Dr Reddy brand for four years and tolerate it well. They have stopped making it and I’ve shifted brand, I’m feel more achy and generally down. Don’t know if it’s my imagination- any suggestions for a similar or brand? Thanks

Given the number of women world-wide who are taking letrozole, it seems surprising that any company would quit making a presumably profitable product. The letrozole brand provided by the cancer center here in Saskatoon, SK is called ACH-Letrozole, and is manufactured by Intas Pharmaceuticals Limited, Ahmedabad, India.

The ACH-Letrozole pamphlet notes a number of nonmedicinal ingredients needed to make the tablets besides letrozole. It indicates that more than 10% of users will experience fatigue (including malaise or generally feeling unwell) and pain in bones and joints. These are considered more common side effects while the common side effects entail a much longer list which includes depression.

Perhaps you adapted to the brand you took for four years. I doubt whether your symptoms are your imagination, but, perhaps you'll also adapt to your new brand as it seems your side effects may be relatively common.

I was very dow0n and achy when I took Letrozole.

What brand have you now switched to ? I am in the U.K. and my current supply are Accord and says manufacturer is Harrow , U.K. and also Poland .

I too am in the UK and have had Letrozole tablets from different suppliers. They shouldn't be different from one other as they should have standard ingredients. But who knows?!
