Has anyone had bone pain like in ribs and scan came out good ?
Try not to worry. I thought I had major issues and it turned out to be costocondritus. Hope I spelled it correctly. It lasted for a few months, but now all is well, at least in the pain category. Good luck!
Hello there,I am constantly feeling new bone pain and constantly telling my onc there must be something new, but the CTs show nothing new and everything stable, which, of course, is wonderful. I am told that previously known mets that did not hurt before can start to hurt without it meaning progression. I am also told that bone remineralization from bisphosphonates therapy can also lead to aches and pains. Then there is also joint and bone pain as a side effect from Letrozole and Ibrance. I hope one of these applies to you and that your next scan shows nothing new. Not knowing for sure is difficult, of course. Fill your time until your scan with something that makes you happy!
Try not to worry we have so much on our plates anyway. When I was first diagnosed I already had cancer on every vertebrae and a large amount of it. I remember laughing and my ribs would hurt by just laughing. Anyway I know when I do too much such as walking or just cleaning around the house my rib cage will start to hurt a little because the rib cage does help hold your body up right. So by just doing too much does make me hurt so I rest or if it’s time I take my pain medicine. So I pray maybe you have just done too much. But still you are the best at knowing your body so keep a diary of good and bad days , it’s the best way to explain it to any physician. If I don’t write it down I will forget it Take care. Happy Nee Year with many blessings.
Oh yes. I had pain in my ribs and was certain it was cancer. PET scan showed it was an area where I'd previously had a broken rib
I have had pain/achy feeling in my ribs that comes and goes. My cat scans have shown that it's from radiation. Try not to worry, but of course that's easier said than done.
Me! I started bone scans due to intermittent rib pain. I’ve had two scans with nothing found. I hope yours is the same!
