Eyes tearing down my face constant . Did anyone find out something that helps ? I am on verzenio not letrozole and my eye leak down my face

I am on verzenio not letrozole and my eye leak down my face all day all night . I thought it was from the FASLODEX injections side effect . Mine is severe for 2 years , systane does nothing for me . I’m begging for help . I can’t wear any makeup and the leaking makes me feel like I’m sick all the time

I am on 150 mg of Verzenio twice a day, and my eyes leak every so often. It seems to me it is later in the day that this happens, however, I “blot” my eyes all through the day, or my vision is blurry.

My cousin had a problem with excessive tearing and bought a Visine product at the drugstore which works great. Check with the pharmacist as I beiieve it is a tablet, Hope that helps.

You may be able to use Allergy Eye Drops which has an eye drying effect. Be careful that it does not over dry your eyes.

Hi,

If your leaking is severe then you might want to see an eye dr. I had tears so bad when I was on taxotere that I almost had stints put in my tear ducts because they were closing up. Luckily I had my last taxotere treatment and my eyes began to get better so I decided to wait on that surgery.

My mother had a huge problem with tearing eyes. She does not have MBC. She was prescribed this omega supplement by her eye doctor. It cleared up and she does not use the supplement any longer. It is costly but if it works it may be worth it.

Seems contradictory but tearing up can mean the eyes are dry! My eye dr. recommended the OTC eye drops Systane and I find that helpful.

Haven’t been on site in awhile but always such great help to answers never get from doctors I too am on Faslodex and Verzinio and having problems with watering eyes and blurry vision just made appointment with eye doctor now I think it is from meds after reading your post

It is definitely from the meds , Not only are my eyes dry and leaking down my face 24 seven my hair is like straw and my fingernails and the skin around it are dry and peel and hurt. Just trying to figure out if it’s a Verzinio or the Faslodex that is causing this horrible horrible problem but on a good note my pet scans are beautiful. Yay

I know it’s like we’re stuck between a rock and a hard place can’t go off meds because they are working my next step would be chemo and I don’t want that unless there is nothing else working

I have been on 50 mgs. of Verzenio twice a day for about two years now. I could not handle the higher doses. Stopped both higher doses two weeks in to taking them. I told my onco no point if this is going to happen (severe diarrhea) so she put me on the lowest dosage 50 mg. twice per day and I am fine. Not as tired, no diarreha and no real side effects to speak of.

I am on Verzenio 150mg 2x a day and my eyes are constantly running. Eye drops don't help. Eyes look like they are sinking if that makes any sense. Going to see my Eye Doctor.

I am on 100 mg 2 x a day and have had Profusely Teary leaky eyes all day all night nothing I have done it has helped at all. I doctors have done nothing for me. If you find out anything I would love you to contact me. I mean I can’t read I can’t function anymore like this it’s it’s really ruining my life. I don’t feel like going anywhere I feel like I’m gonna get a disease from constantly wiping my eyes. I can’t wear any make up. Sad 😞
