Hello who has taken Taxol on a weekly schedule? My question is did you lose your hair?

I'm new to Taxol just have a few questions for anyone who has had this Chemo.

I had 12 weeks, in 2020. I lost all my hair, and my normally straight hair grew back curly. It's been a year since I completed Taxol, and it's still curly.

I had taxol during my first dx and I did lose my hair...but when completed it grew back!

Thank you for your response. It seems my doctor is going to put me on Carboplatin and Gemcitabine. Any experience with these?

I recently did 12 weeks of taxol. I found it very tolerable with minimal side effects.

I didn’t lose any hair but did the cold cap.

Hi There,

I had 4 cycles of AC and lost every bit of hair - everywhere- except my eyebrows and lashes.

Taxol started a week later and all hair started growing back but lost my lashes and brows. Once finished they grew back just sparse. My straight hair grew back curly but went back to being straight a year later.
