Mums ibrance has been reduced to 75mg due to regular low bloods. She is on 3 weeks then off for 2 to see if this helps but still after 2 weeks off her bloods aren't right so another week until she can start again! Anyone got any similar stories? Mum has mets in lung and one lymph node. All stable since starting ibrance last year.
Thankyou

No worries. I too am on a cycle of 3 weeks on Ibrance and 3 off. My wbcs don’t pick up either in the one week protocol recommended by Pfizer. I’ve been on this for about 8 months and scans have shown no metastasis so it’s doing no harm.
We all react differently to this drug and sometimes need individual plans. Please don’t worry. All the best to you and your mom. 🙏🏻

I started on 125mg 3 weeks on 1 week off, they then swapped it to 100mg 3 weeks on 1 weeks off and now they’ve changed it to 100mg 3 weeks on 2 weeks off to allow neutrophils the time to bounce back.
It’s still working effectively for me even at lower doses. I’m doing quite a lot of other things to support everything is stable abs my tumour markers are down 86% since the start when they diagnosed me last August
I was reduced from 125 to 100 and three weeks on two weeks off. So far so good on that regime. It’s nice that they are able to adjust according to what different people need. I hope it works well for her for a long time to come!
Sounds like she will be ok. Ibrance didn't work for me or at least it didn't seem to. However, I had a five weeks break from it due to surgery and then some progression in the lungs mets. I think we didn't give it a good try. Never mind the lower dose is supposed to be just as good. My dose was lowered because of low blood.
I am having trouble too. I am on letrozole and 75 ibrance.I have tried many combinations. This cycle I am doing 2 weeks on and two weeks off so will see what happens.
So sorry you are having problems with your blood counts. I did too and added a multi vitamin and calcium plus D. They are staying between 1.68 and 2.0 now. Go to a pharmacy you trust and let them select a good multi vitamin pill for you. It has worked for me. I am on 100mg. of Ibrance (down from 125). Blessings, Hannah
I hope your mom will have much success on this dosing schedule both with improved neutrophils as well as remaining stable. It is great to read other posts on here about different dosing schedules working. I am currently on 125 mg Ibrance and Letrozole. They seem to be working as I am currently stable and my neutrophils have not dropped too low. If, however, that changed I would definitely try a different dosing schedule before I agreed to switch meds to see if it could kickstart my system changing it up a bit.
I’m in the same boat, my white count has been too low for a couple months. But I was on the strongest dose, 125, now I am on 100. Hope it works, ibrance has worked well for me for 2 years.
Hello I was on Ibrance 75 mg. three weeks on two weeks off for 3 1/2 years. This worked very well for me. If your Mom can do this schedule she hopefully will have good results as I have had. My white count was always so low but up barely enough to start pill back after two weeks off.
