Now know what “scan-xiety” feels like. I have my first scan since my 12/2020 lumpectomy and 19 rounds of radiation in early 2021. I have a follow up appt appointment on Monday with the results from the bilateral tomosynthesis mammogram.
Nerves! Wish me good news!
Best,
Colleen

Fingers crossed for you Colleen. I swear these scans are a blessing and a curse. I always think of the lovely view from your home so take time to watch the sea and the hills. Chris

Wishing you well for your scan results
Sophie Sabbage who wrote a brilliant book -~ The Cancer Whisperer as a phrase I’ve heard her use (I’ve been to a workshop she ran) which is 59 say to yourself out loud
“ I don’t know until I know ….. I don’t know until I know”
It sounds almost to simple but rather than imagining all the possibilities it really helps me calm myself with scanxiety.
