I got my first mouth sore today, I take dexamethasone and salt water for rinse is there anything else out there for mouth sores . And does anyone have trouble sleeping while taking Dexamethasone. Helena

Mucosamine is very good...I’m a retired dentist and my colleague swears by it..he’s an oral surgeon I’m on dexamethasone and it must be taken before noon or it will keep you awake...fancy not telling you that!

Try good quality Manuka Honey lozenges. They taste good and and work well for mouth ulcers.

I read that breaking a vitamin E capsule and applying the liquid to the sore helps a lot, though I haven't had to try it. Hope it works.Kate
