What can I do or take to get of Piqray without headaches!]

Hi all,

I am having to get off Piqray to have surgery and to be accessed for a trial drug. The problem is I can not go cold turkey because of the massive headaches I have been getting every time I don't use the Piqray. Please share any meds, or other ways you got off Piqray without the side effects. Please help!

Hi Gail,

Have you spoken to your oncologist or oncology nurses? They should be able to advise you on how to safely come off piqray without the severe headaches that you are experiencing. Maybe they will tell you to gradually reduce the dosage. I wish you well.

Thanks they had no clue this was an issue and they said go cold Turkey!

That seems like a harsh way of coming off a drug. Surely, they should try a gentler approach to avoid the headaches? I hope you get some answers and relief from the headaches soon.
