is anyone taking Piqray and experiencing hair loss. If so, what shampoo or treatment are you using. Please advise. Kathy from Syracuse, NY

Yes, I used TGel shampoo and my dermatologist gave me a prescription to spray my hair when it was dry. No on it anymore.

Not much hair loss. I am on Orserdu and growing more hair so I must have lost it. Have bangs and it looks cute. My next cancer medication toxil will be bad. Need a port inserted and do chemo once a week for 3 weeks then one week off. I’ll lose my rich grey hair.

I go to have the port put in Tuesday. Scared as hell.

Goo luck with Piqray. It affected my glucose and I was diabetic. A nasty drug.

Be safe and well.

Reenie, getting the port put in isn't bad. Try to relax. Sending hugs and love

Thank you for your information! My hair loss, itching and diarrhea is getting worse after 6 months on this drug! These days are tough for all of us!

I use Kevin Murphy “plumping wash” and “plumping rinse”. My hair had thinned both in quantity and texture and I think these products have improved how my hair feels and looks.

Can you tell me where you buy these products? My hair has thinned so much and the texture has changed from Ibrance and Letrozole. Thanks for the recommendation.

I see both on Amazon. ♥️♥️♥️

My hairdresser tells me that getting Kevin Murphy products on Amazon doesn’t guarantee that they’re the real deal. I think the only legit places you can get them is either from a salon or from Kevin Murphy website. But that’s not to say you can’t try Amazon!😊. Also .. it’s not a miracle product — I just find my hair is feeling a bit “plumper” after using these products for a few months. Their “body builder mousse” truly adds volume.

Thank you so much. I will look at their site. Even if my hair felt thicker that would be bonus. Right now the only time it really looks good is right after my cut and color. Otherwise, I wear a wig when I go out.

Hi, I was on the Pickray in 2022, I did not tolerate this treatment at all, took it for 3 month’s and lost 30 lbs, to sick to hardly eat or get out of bed much even, my stomach hurt all the time and the smell of eggs made me sick, I kept telling my Oncologist to please take me off, that this treatment was taking me down, he finally did, I have gained all my weight back and then some, and have also tried a few others , but the Ibrance 75 mg has seemed to work the best for me so far, so will stay on this till I have to change , I have taken daily vitamins and continue to to help with the hair loss issues and Biotin 10,000 mcg , 1 daily has helped me to thicken the areas up I lost hair from and to slow the hair loss up, plus I take , B12, D3&k2, folic acid which was recommended by the Mayo Clinic, and vitamin C , hope this helps, prayers with you on this treatment🙏

I'm on Piqray now for six months. I have lost my body hair - no more shaving! My head hair is thinner, especially around the hair line and temples and it is so, so dry (as is my skin). i only wash it once a week now as it seems to make it even more dry and falls out more. It always looks much worse after washing - really frizzy and dry, no matter what conditioners I use. I've seen a few hair loss remedies advertised so will be trying some of those. I've got minoxidil to try first and ! invested in a red light laser cap. ( the things we have to do!)

Side effects are pretty tolerable after the first month or so. I've settled down on it at the full dose, so I really hope it will keep working for me. the anxiety of changing to a new line is awful as they seem to get progressively worse.

I have lost weight also, but the hair problem and dryness is the worse part! So far this drug has been keeping my cancer at bay and I’m due for another PET scan in December and hope I can stay on this same medicine, no matter what! I have taken all the “pill” meds for 6 years and if has to change, I will be put on Taxol intravenous! I don’t look forward to that! I’m looking now for another wig, since my hair just doesn’t look good at any time now! God help us all get through these stressful times together!
