Decreased dosage of ibrance

What factors / side effects determined a lowering of your ibrance dosage . I started at 125 mg for 1 year ,lowered to 100 mg for 9 months . I am curious about dropping to 75mg and hoping to elevate some fatigue.

I do understand blood count levels are a main factor but wondered if there are others ?

Luann, my understanding is that, as you said, bloodwork can determine lowering dosage as does seriousness of side effects.

I started on 125 mg of Ibrance in May 2019. I ended up in hospital in July and then tried again for a couple of months. I could never get my bloodwork up in time and did not feel well and so fatigued. I dropped to 75 and am doing good on that.

That is awesome that the 75 mg is working for you . How long have you been on the 75 mg ?

I am going to talk to my oncologist on my next visit and get her thoughts . I would really like some energy back .

I have been on it since Nov. and had scans beginning of April and everything was stable. Scans again beginning of July.

It sure made a difference for me. Hopefully this will work for you too.

That is awesome Sandra. I was really disappointed when I had to drop down but so far so good.
