After reading post about writing through cancer this is my way

Diagnosed with cancer really sucks

Come on meds lets kick cancers butt

My life has changed this was not in my plan

Appointment, meds and ct scans

Think positive that's what I have to do

All of this cancer because of you

Now self isolating so virus doesn't affect me

Cancer and virus that's the way it has to be

We will get through this virus and on the other side

My life at the moment is like a rollercoaster ride

I will get my holiday in the sun

Determined to stay well so I can have fun

Feelings go up and down in my head

usually while lying at night in my bed

Then in the morning positive I am

Determined to live the fullest life I can

Oh my gosh, Kiera!

It was so wonderful to see your poem this morning! I love it!! Honest, but upbeat..."Determined to stay well so that I can have fun" is the line I'll repeat to myself today!
