Pain after having zoledex and denusumab

Hi for the first 10 days after having zoledex and denusumab my arms become sore if I stretch them for about 1 minute then they are fine, I also find that it irritates my bladder. After 10 days I am fine again no pain, I am wondering if it could be my meds has anyone else had this, be interesting to see if it happens now I'm on 3 monthly treatment regime.

Hi Tracey,

I've not had that reaction from zoladex. Perhaps it's a reaction to your other injection. Were you warned by your oncologist or oncology nurses that this might happen? If not, I would give them a ring and see what they say.

No they didnt will have to tell her when I have next onc appt with her in June, probably another phone appt

It’s the XGeva! (Denusumab) It causes bone pain...and an assortment of other side effects. I stopped taking it after about 6 months of headaches and overall not feeling well. I went back to Zometa and feel much better now! I get the Zoladex as well.

Ask if they can give you the Xgeva in you tummy. It feels better there.
