Hi fellow warrior,

I have been on the exact same treatment you are on for about five months. I've had diarrhea, loss of appetite, fatigue. I've taken anti meds for the diarrhea, am pushing myself recently into eating more. I am due for a pet scan to see if am stable, I pray that I am.

Take care, hang in there.

Thank you for responding . I am having the same side effects as well the drug messaging with my sugar levels. I am a diabetic and my diabetes was under control for 15 years, now I have to take insulin with this drug just to survive. I am also having a pet scan done at the end of the month, praying for good results as well.

I hope all is good for you Hand in there

I forgot to mention that my blood sugar has gone up but not super high. I will pray for us, for good results.

I have taken 300 mg of Piqray for62 days no break. Also received Faslodex shots and zone training infusions 1/month. I am as sick as I have ever been. My blood test today indicates I need 2 units of blood. The transfusion is set up fo tomorrow 8am. I have suffered almost every side effect. My quality of life is terrible. They say I will feel much better after transfusion. I think I am being poisoned and should get a break or reduced dosage. Overwhelmed oncologist is not up to speed on this drug

Bayb.

I am right there with you They did lower my dosage 250mg because 300mg was driving my sugar levels up to over 500. I feel tried all the time and I just don’t feel like I did before I know that it is a new drug but I am so tempted to tell my oncologist when I see him on Thursday to try something else. So far the only positive thing out of taking this drug is that my cancer markers went down. We will see how this appt goes. Stay strong my sister warrior and keep us updated as I will let everyone know how things go.
