Hi Gwennie,

You're welcome! I hope everything goes well for you during your first infusion. It's quite a simple procedure. Once the cannula is inserted, it normally takes around 20-30 minutes for the infusion, so it might be a good idea to take some reading material with you. Or if you're anything like me, you will get chatting with the other patients and lose track of time!

Hi Gwennie, hope Zometa infusion went well. I’m due to have mine on Friday and have the remainder of a head cold so a little concerned. I had initially tried ibandronic acid but after 4 days the side effects were quite severe, so am hoping for better luck with Zometa. Only on letrazole at the moment.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
