Hi all. I started Ibrance and faslodex on the same day for the first time . On the third day my lip started swelling after I took my 3rd pill of Ibrance. Called onc and she said stop the Ibrance. I was also taken off afinitor for the same reason my lips swell. Has anyone had a reaction to faslodex. How would they no with one caused this reaction. Tomorrow I have to have another faslodex shot. Looking forward to your responses. Shelley

Yes Shelby had a reaction- rashes and hives and had to see an allergist. He thinks it’s faslodex because rash came out over injection sites. Just had shot Friday- had to take steroids before and up to today.put me on Allegra n Benadryl. It’s crazy but my pet scan showed treatment is working. Thanks for your response. I see an allergist tomorrow. He wants me to bring along two Ibrance pills. ?? I will keep you informed how the appt. went. They said it will take 4 to 6 hours

Hi well back from my immunologist. Interesting!!!!

He tested me for Ibrance and i am allergic to this drug. Was tested with afinitor and I am allergic. I asked him now what ? I have been off treatment for 3 and 1/2 months . I asked the immunologist if I bring in the next drug Could I Be tested first . He said that the results would not be conclusive . Does anyone have any ideas I see my onc on Friday July 19. Shelby4now
