Hi there, Just wondering if anyone else is having nosebleeds on Taxol? I know it is only a small thing, but added to everything else I could do without it :) Have been trying vaseline as my nose is so raw.

When I was on taxol during my initial diagnosis I used to get a nosebleed once in awhile. Very annoying. I would report it to your onc.

I had a nosebleed pretty much every day while on taxol. My oncologist said it was completely normal. I know it's frustrating.

Yes, I've been on taxol for 6+ months and had some intermittent nosebleeds. It wasn't running down my face or anything, but when I blew my nose, I got blood. It seems to have gone away (for now). My NP didn't seem to be too concerned. :-/

I have a relative that will be given taxol in near future. I had taxol 20years ago and I wanted to better understand how it was given these days? I had it every 3 weeks and it was typical to get deep bone pain and peripheral neuropathy fir several days oust the infusion, I understand taxotere is used a lot today and that is a bit easier tolerated. Also maybe it us given in smaller dosages more often?
