Hi Everyone,

I hope the sun is shining wherever you are.

I am reading Jane McClelland's book at the moment and it is inspiring. However I have also looked on her website where I found one single testimonial from a woman whose metastatic BC is stable, using conventional and off-label drugs. I was hoping to find a wealth of positive testimonials there so am a little disappointed. Is there anyone out there who is, or knows someone who is, getting positive results from Jane's methods?

I know the COC protocol uses her ideas and that some of you are using this. Has anyone been doing it long enough to feel that something positive is happening?

I want to explore this path thoroughly as I believe it shows the most promise of anything I have found so far.

Thanks,

Angela

Hi LouisaMay

I don’t know of anyone who has had success with her methods

I have however made an appointment at the COC in London next month to discuss their off label drugs...doesn’t mean I’ll follow their protocol but it’s all very interesting but not backed up as far as I know by long term clinical trials

However if the drugs don’t interfere with mine and the side effects aren’t too awful...there’s really nothing to lose...apart from hard cash!!!

Try searching on Facebook “How to Starve Cancer study support group” run by Abby Mitchell and “myycancerstory.rocks. I have read Jane’s book these two links have a wealth of information if you are interested in learning more. Don’t be surprised if your oncologist is not open to Integrative supplements.

Hope this helps

That's brilliant, thanks very much. I will explore both of those. I will not be at all surprised if my onc is not supportive. On our first meeting I asked him about a lot of different supplements and he seemed rather bored...

Hi again Angela,

It is probably still early days for me, but I have been on the COC protocol since April and I have been implementing some of Jane's suggestions since reading her book. For example, I am also seeing Dr Callebout, a doctor mentioned in her book who also helped her, I've been working on my diet and lifestyle all along and am continuing to make changes. My last four CT scans have been stable, so obviously it's not all down to the COC protocol, as this was occurring before I had started all of that. But I plan to continue. Dr Callebout said that using the COC protocol can really help. My next CT scan is planned for July, and I will be having my next blood test next month too, so I will be interested to see those results.
