Inhibitor stopped

I've been on Exemestane for 6 months, along with the other drugs. About a month ago my RA went nuts and I could barely walk. Stopped the Exemestane for 4 days per my team and joints got better. I'm taking a very limited amount - a few times a week now - and hope that doesn't effect the great results we've been getting from the meds. But my body just can't handle the effects.

Life can be so blasted unfair! Having to deal with both RA and MBC is lousy, lousy, lousy! And an example of how very individual our stories are. I have some other health issues, too, and sometimes it feels like a crazy balancing act! I wonder if there is someplace where you could consult with a bc specialist onc and a RA specialist and have them talking with one another to figure out the best plans for your treatment. But even then, with the very best medical care, it is a bit of trail and error! How any drug is going to help us just cannot be absolutely predicted! Do keep us posted. It will be interesting to see how you do on a less frequently dosing schedule with an AI. That might be helpful for others who have intolerable side effects.
