Blood pressure

Hi is anyone else having problems with hypotension since starting the treatment? I am now on tablets for high blood pressure. It’s hard to say if it’s caused by anxiety or the Letrozole 😐

I don't know. I was on blood pressure meds before my cancer returned. Blessings, Hannah

I assume you mean hypertension not hypotension. I already had HBP and have not needed any change in my medication. My BP is well controlled while taking Ibrance and letrozole for over a year.

Hard to say! But my high blood pressure occurs only when I go to my cancer center. I have been dx with white coat syndrome!

Hi & yes my BP is higher than it was before bc. After it being high for a yr. my primary Dr is having me check it for a week & journal about my day. Last night I had to take an anxiety pill because my brain would not shut down after trying to get to sleep for 2 hrs. Today my BP was in upper 20's, best reading all week! I believe the anxiety pill lowered it. Cancer is stressful and causes so many other problems for us. Hope this helps.

Well they say high bp is a side effect of the Letrozole and yes my blood pressure started to go up thanks to these treatments as well as the Zometa caused me diabetes. A lot of the issues that i'm having I did not have until cancer came knocking @ my door. 😔

Take cinnamon pills . Only the one stay ceylon. I control mine that went up after start meds for cancer.
