An OTC substitute for Peridex

Hi, all! A while back, one of you kindly suggested a non-staining alternative to Peridex, (chlorhexedine gluconate). I think my MRONJ is gone now, but my oral surgeon wants me to go to use Peridex forever as a prophylactic measure, however it really stains my teeth, and some of these stains are building up on the insides of the teeth where they contact one another and are not coming off w/regular cleanings, as I had been told they would.

Any suggestions?

What a great question! My oral surgeon said to use white strips for the staining and said the stains are very superficial. I haven’t tried them yet and am just resorting to not smiling right now. :-)
