How has everyone been coping on the 5 on 2 off regime with Ibrance is it better,does it still hit your WBC count as bad ?.

I’ve never been told of that either. I’ll have to ask my oncologist. Thanks for the info.
I understand the protocol but I often buck it a bit. I also have not heard of the 5 on2 off but I find I normally need two weeks off for my counts to go back to normal range. I know the oncos say if 1200, go ahead. Lombardi does not let me start at 1,000. My question today is have any of you waited, on your own sense of well being, until your counts hit at least the 1700 mark to begin your next cycle?
I have heard that they are doing a study on 5 day on 2 days off and that they think that it may give the same results with less side effects. I asked my oncologist about this but he is not comfortable with me trying it until further information is out. I hope it's soon as I would really like to try this.
