New Ibrance/letrazole symptom? Dry red itchy flaking forehead

I'm now experiencing red itchy flakey skin on my 6th cycle of Ibrance. My forehead is only affected when I wake up in the morning. I've been able to use a moisturizing hand cream which seems to work until the next morning after taking Ibrance at 6 pm. Has anyone else noticed other skin issues?

All the best,

LeAnn

I find that AquaPhor helps me the best.

Thanks It is better today. I will just have to keep moisturizers on it and see if it can be controlled.

When I first started ibrance/letrozole I developed a rash on arms stomach and hands ( I thought it was eczema at first but it wasn't) I tried steroid cream but the only thing that works is Allegra 24 hr which I take every day.. I have been taking ibrance since May 2017.

Good luck

Hi Mimiholl,

Was just wondering what dosage of Ibrance you’re on and if you’ve had any other bothersome symptoms with this medication?

For me, I’m on 75 mgs of Ibrance with 2.5 mgs of Letrozole. I’m ending cycle 1 tonight.

What is bothering me the most is nausea and upset stomach. I’ve been put on Zofran every 12 hours. It helps but I find that I need to have some Pepto and a little coke to alleviate these symptoms. I’m also quite tired with little energy.

Have you experienced any of this? I noticed that you’’ve been on Ibrance for 7 months. Is it helping you? I’d like to know how others feel about this drug.

Thanks for any feedback you can give me. Kats2

I am on 125 ibrance and letrozoloe 2.5 .

in the first few months I was nauseous each morning and took Prochloperazine 10mg I take my medication in the AM because I was afraid of waking

up nauseous. I have found that the last few months just sitting quietly for about an hour does the trick. I did have mouth sores in the beginning but magic mouthwash cleared it up. I am tired in the afternoon but not exhausted. I also have hot flashes I am now able to walk each day for a mile and half. Constipated but this could be from other meds I take or just the combination of so many meds. Hope this helps,

Mimi

I'm taking 75 mg and 2.5 mg letrazole. 125 mg was too much. I only have toe tingling with foot pain, forehead rash, and sometimes loose stools in the morning. It has helped some of my bone mets pain in hips and ribs, but it is not all gone on sacrum, hips, and spine. I can now dance, walk and go to work. I was bedridden with pain before I took Ibrance and letrazole. I also take Zometa.
