Sore leg muscles

Hi....I had a double mastectomy in Jan 2023 and finished my 4th and final chemo treatment one month ago. Since my 3rd treatment I have experienced extremely sore leg muscles 24/7 with no improvement. Has anyone else had this side effect?

Yes after chemo my leg muscles would play up especially on getting up in the morning and I would have to bang them on the floor. It almost felt like I was walking on wooden pegs. I had six rounds of TAC chemotherapy every 3 weeks, which was now 11 years ago. I think what I get is peripheral neuropathy although it has not been diagnosed. It does improve over time but I still get problems even in my hands Take care and all the best.

Hi I’ve just had my 5th round of chemo, the last 2 have been docetaxel and I believe aching muscles and joints is a side effect of this chemo. My fitness has definitely been compromised but I am pushing myself and going for short walks. It is difficult both physically and psychologically. Best wishes.x
