Monthly blood work today

Hi all,

I read the posts and I am amazed at how much they help me. I am on Ibrance, Xgeva and Femara. Start a new cycle today. It’s been 8 months and I am still nervous going to see Oncologist. I’ve had one scan in April and so far good results (tumor markers down). I have bone Mets only, ribs, Iliac.

For the last few days I’ve had pain in right side which is where I first experienced it. Sometimes I can’t tell if it’s cancer, the drugs or just aging ( I’m 68).

Anyway, I’ll see how blood work looks and I think my doc wants a scan next month.

I’m happy your tumor markets are down. Focus on that. As for that other pain you feel, definitely tell your oncologist. Is there something in particular that helps the pain (heating pad/hot shower?) Maybe it’s not what you think. Maybe it’s old age and all the things your body has gone through. I’m younger than you and right now my bones/muscles feel like I’m in my 90’s😩 but it’s ok I know they will go back to feeling close to 40☺️
