I wanted to let everyone know about a beautiful initiative called Awesome Breastforms. They provide free breastforms to women who have had explant surgery, lumpectomy or mastectomy, or who have had developmental complications. All you have to do is fill out a simple form online. Mine arrived in the mail yesterday. It's so lightweight and comfortable, much moreso than the heavy, plasticky medical kind. They're lovingly knitted or crocheted by a team of volunteers around the world. (Mine was made by Mary Jane in Montana and even included a personal note.)
