I was diagnosed and successfully treated 8 years ago, and now I'm a volunteer on the SHARE breast cancer helpline. I did not know what to expect upon diagnosis, especially what chemo would be like. So now I can help by sharing my experience. I'm so happy to hear of advances like the cold cap to prevent hair loss. Grateful for all the research going on!
