Hi

I contracted Herpes type 1 around 8 years ago when my partner at the time cheated on me. The first outbreak was severe but since that initial 1 I hardly have outbreaks, I've had around 3 mild outbreaks in the last 8 years. As I am too scared of passing it on and have been rejected when I've been honest in telling those I've wanted to be intermate with, I Now haven't had sex for 5 years 😞 It's making me un happy the thought that I may never have sex again. Please advise how I can move forward with this? Do I need to have 'the chat'. Before taking things further with someone? Or are there precautions I can take to ensure I won't pass on the Herpes. Please Help !!!!
