My boyfriend has genital herpes

Hiya. My boyfriend has genital herpes and I don't. I love him and want to be with him, but I'm so afraid to take the risk and sleep with him and get this. It doesn't change how I feel about him, I just want to make sure I make an educated decision and get informed about this. Can I go down on him and get it on my face? How long can we avoid transmission? What is the best way to prevent transmission? Any information on this would help thanks xxx

If you have oral sex with a condom, it is not usually passed. But having a penile vagina intercourse even with condom has change of herpes to be passed.

Herpes is a viral infection. Although after treatment the virus stays in the body and the person needs to be managed with anti-viral medication. Get your partner treated first and usually it takes about 3 weeks. If you need more information please ping me.

Thanks
