you’re not alone amongst millions of others !! You’re over the threshold now which I believe was 3 weeks!! Just carry on life as normal!! Zero stress!! That’s the key !! Get into yoga if you can!! Take a class and then you’re set to go on YouTube videos. I promise it will be a winner!!!

I couldn’t believe it, my family couldn’t and neither could my friends when I had nstemi heart attack last July and , had angiogram that confirmed at least 3 blocked arteries and I had to have quadruple bypsss. I was so fit and strong , always trained and did a lifetime of sports. I was 61 . I cried like a baby when I was in hospital on the second night after seeing my family. I felt that I had let the side down . Post surgery I’m sure I had PTSD , this has now settled after a year. I have done so well in this last 12 months . Rehab wasn’t all linear but I was riding my little motorbike and driving again within 3-4 months post surgery , completed level 4 rehab program, was training to run 5k, started physical work around our small holding , did Parkruns after 6 months , returned to yoga classes at 8 months, camped at a 3 day music festival and had a blast , passed my full motorcycle licenses tests after 11 months and bought a Harley Davidson Sportster , became a grandparent.. absolutely loving my rebirth . I hope you are able to accept, learn about your condition and eventually begin to live a full and active life.

I have learned so much about myself , the nstemi heart attack, the medication , the recovery , the fatigue, nutrition to keep my new pipes clear and most of all the new opportunity. This forum is fantastic for support as are the BHF nurses for immediate online or telephone chat advice . Wishing you all the best on your journey and keep us updated . 👊🏻👊🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

Yeh why me. But time will take care if it. And the normal you talk about gave you that heart attack so you don't want that normal. Fund the new you and a new normal. Time for a change. My heart attack was 12 years ago. Still think about it everyday. But I've come to terms with it. I like the new me better.
