Tattoo Sarcoidosis

Did lots of research into having eyebrows tattooed (really sparse after years of plucking!) I eventually found someone who was referred to me by a nurse who said many Oncology patients were referred to her. She spent an hour going through everything not @ all pushy. I went ahead, really pleased & over a few yrs went back to her for 'top-ups' . After approx 4yrs I noticed an angry waxy red looking spot in my r/eyebrow,after approx 6wks went to GP (although it didn't bother me it,but I knew it wasn't a normal spot). Referred to a wonderful Dermatologist who tried some cream which didn't work,so did a biopsy which gave tge diagnosis. She explained to me that Sarcoidosis is very rare, but I needed my eyes, neck, & chest scanned, I couldn't believe it! Thankfully, my eyes were fine, but I was found to have them in my neck & one in my chest. My Dermatologist referred me to someone else whose field is Tattoo Sarcoidosis he prescribed 2 different creams & (very) thankfuly it cleared up. I have been told that with Sarcoidosis you cannot have 'fillers', ( I would be very interested if anyone has) nor or any tattooing (no chance !!!!) I do have Botox & thankfully have been fine. I appreciate how fortunate I am, not to have any ongoing problems with Sarcs.
