Has anyone had one of these scans. They require a diet of no carbs or sugar , just protein for 2 days and then fasting for 18 hours. I have had Sarcoidosis of lungs for approx 14 years very thankfully stable and no treatment except a short spell on steroids when first diagnosed. I am under the care of the Brompton London where they use the Scan to detect any Sarcoid with the heart. Just enquiring if anyone else has had this Scan.

Yes, I have. Special diet as you said then fasting, wasn’t a problem. No sarcoidosis in my heart was the good news!
