Yeah I have Restless torture thigh syndrome. what can I say it sucks.I'm looking for someting natural to treat the torture.I was taking iron but it isn't even helping anymore and I'm sick of only masking the pain. I need to find something to make the pain not come back.

Hi,

So far the only natural treatment for pain in my legs and arms that has worked for me is magnesium oil gently rubbed in. It does not take the pain away completely, but it makes it bearable.

If when you start the treatment, you get a lot of itching, burning sensations, it usually means that you are lacking magnesium, after a couple of goes, the feelings calm down.

I usually do this 2 to 3 times a week, as I do not absorb nutrients very well.

I hope this is some help.

You can buy it in most heath shops, not too expensive and it lasts for month's.

I get the worst of my pain in my thighs and calves. I've been taking Magnesium as supplement and Potassium as well for a long time. I still get woken with pain every night but maybe it would be even worse if I didn't take them - I just don't want to mess around finding out! I've also tried Acupuncture , and using a TENS machine, neither of which made any difference. I followed a low-oxalate diet recommended for fibromyalgia sufferers as the doctor thought I had that at the time but nothing changed. I'm now waiting for results of blood test for B12 deficiency and am to try Ropinirole when I can get myself weaned off the Amitriptyline I was given for chronic pain - that's something definitely to avoid! Good luck!
