I have invited users of other HealthUnlocked forums (Parkinson's Movement, Gluten Free Guerillas and Hughes Syndrome Foundation) to join us as RLS appears to be a recurring theme on their discussion boards. I see this as a significant benefit of HealthUnlocked, in that there is a bigger pool of knowledge for us to tap into, while at the same time allowing us to share our knowledge about RLS with others living with the condition.

Thank you so much for inviting me to this RLS site. This is one problem I have had for years and for years the doctors did not know what it was or how to deal with it so my aunt and myself just had to suffer. There was no dealing with it back then it would win every time. You could not sleep and the only ease I got was when I moved my legs. Out of that bed you had to move, walk,or do something to ease your legs. Thank God for Doctors.
oh the joy of RLS, wonderfull isnt it, you want to lie down and sleep, and your leg feel like dancing pfff

Hi stanjo 16, hope you get some good info from our RLS site, that you can use when things go wrong with meds. or you need somewhere to vent... or need some suggestions to help that others have tried.
Irene..
There is also an idiopathic form of RLS Lynn, hopefully more of our members will migrate from our old website soon
its looking like they need a bit of a push pinkellie
I am gluten free. Have malabsorbtion which kicks off the RL, hoping the gluten free will heal my gut and that I will have no more nutrient deficiencies, hence no more RL for me :).
In the meantime it's lots of supplements.
hugs to all
