I've only cut a quarter off the .0125 five days ago. They say the first 4/5 days are the worst but these symptoms are getting worse. The restless legs fine. It's these other symptoms, blurred vision, and tightness all over the body, dizzy/ lightheaded, pressure feeling in head, severe anxiety. I don't know what to do my specialist appointment not till 4 weeks. As I said restless legs aren't there. But these other symptoms are bad. Can't even walk around much. I was on the lowest dose for God's sake. What do I do now.

You are experiencing withdrawals.
Go back to full dose and start again.
This time take a tiny sliver off the tablet - Sue Johnson advises getting a small gold prospecting scales or suchlike.
Go down much slower.
It's the LAST days are the worst, not the first.
Good luck.
Thanks for your reply it's helped the restless legs but it's these other symptoms that are terrible. I'm sleeping better and everything. So I go back to full dose tonight for how long or do I just shave abit off the full dose tonight.?
I've got the scales but they don't even read the measurements that I want. So the best if you think just cut the quarter in half so instead of taking 3/4 off the pill I go back and cut that quarter in half so I will be taking over 3/4
Yes-- go back to base until you are stable, and then start again going down.Work with as small a dose as possible and go down the same way.
Don't be afraid to stop at a dose or even go back up if it's unbearable.
Do check for all the other challenges, such as triggers from medication and food/ drink.
All the best.
Ok so I can't just add an extra eighth in ?
Not sure what you mean?Going down by an eighth should work.
You'll have to experiment.
Sorry texting is so overrated, I dropped the .125 pramipexole down to a quarter. What if I add a half of that quarter on, so it bumps it back up to nearly a full tablet., instead of 3/4 of a tablet and stay on that for 2 weeks then reduce again by an 8 th next drop instead of a quarter
I would forget the specialist appointment and do what Sue Johnson says. she has been through it all and is very knowledgeable. Neurologists and docs haven't,,,! They have never experienced what we are all going through and just follow guide lines.
Moggie will find Sue Johnson's advice in her many answers to similar posts on this site. They are full of good comprehensive advice.
Yes I know but I need the specialist for maybe the opioids as I come down doses .As they say opioids or tramadol can't take a lot as it pushes my salt down
