Twenty nights rls free

I know it’s advised against and I did refrain from trying it due to my rls but I’m twenty nights in on 10 mg amitriptyline for migraine prevention and have slept brilliantly every single night with no rls ! Had two bursts early evening watching tv but not when I go to bed . People usually take higher doses I believe but I’m trying the 10mg this month see how my head is but I’m sure good nights sleeps will help too 🙏 maybe this will help someone else .. we’re all different ☺️

That's brilliant. I'm so glad for you.

It's wonderful to get something that works.

It's so true that everyone has different reactions to medications.

Long may it continue for you.

👍😎

Hope it continues for you. I was prescribed Amitriptyline when I was first diagnosed in 2004/5. It did work for around 5 weeks. Then stopped. I was then prescribed Ropinirole.

They prescribed Amitriptyline again for MS nerve pain in around 2012 and it sent my RLS through the roof.

Weird.

But if it's working for you now- that's brilliant.

Yea I was thinking I hope it doesn’t wear off as I get used to it 🥴I’ve also worked out certain foods also trigger it , spicy food and Chinese 😩.. good for the diet though 😬

A lot of Chinese food contains MSG and that can trigger RLS for many.

Hi good evening,

I’m so glad you have found something that’s helping you, that’s great news

I no how cruel RLS is, how much it takes from your life, I have tried everything but I’ve found that oxycodone works for me .. I can get it for 12 hours at a time I have to constantly move my body to get relief , I end up hallucinating with the lack of sleep… it’s awful.. I’m so happy for you thank you for sharing xx ❤️
