How disappointing. I hope you showed him the new NICE cks guidance which makes it clear dopamine agonists should NOT be prescribed in the UK because of the very high rates of Augmentation and Impulse Control Disorder?

I told her as it was over the phone. She clearly didnt know and hadn't read my notes, as I have been on ropinirole in the past. Thats when I suggested a swap from gabapentin to pregablin, which she has organised. The pharmacist at the practise seems a bit better informed. Also gave me codeine to help with the transition. I guess its small steps, but very exhausting to have to fight each time I go to the GP
