Pragabalin

please advise how to take Pragabalin, somewhere down the line of me taking Pragabalin I was told to split the dose, I have just been to the doctors who have informed me that I should be taking it in one dose, I take mine in the evening when the best time.

One would normally take it all at one time one to two hours before bedtime.

Thank you, very confused GP said you need to split the dose so as you have a 12hour gap and you should not take the whole dose in my case 425mg all at once.

That's probably because it is generally used for neuropathic pain where you have pain 24 hours whereas it is prescribed off label for RLS and you only have symptoms at night.

Pregabalin is more readily absorbed than gabapentin so you usually take it at night in one dose.However, some people do split the dose if they get early morning RLS. By splitting the dose and taking half a few hours before bed and half just as you are falling asleep- you can extend the cover to stop early morning RLS at 5 or 6am.

It's often trial and error.

Hi I take pregablin for fybromylaga but I also get rls. I take morning and night to spread the dose
