I can never be convinced that Citalipram didn't cause my RLS and my Pulsatile Tinnitus. They both started within days of each other, and within a week of starting Citalopram. Changing to a different drug hasn't stopped these afflictions. Anyone else have this kind of experience with an antidepressant?

Citalopram as a cause.
Citalopram is a SSRI antidepressant and known to make RLS worse. If you are still on prozac it too makes RLS worse.
There are only 2 safe ones which I gave you before.
They won't cause RLS but might trigger an underlying RLS that hadn't shown it's ugly face before.
Very possible. All SSRI/SNRI and tricyclical anti depressants trigger RLS.They may even leave you with RLS even after you have stopped taking them. Scientists don't know enough about brain chemicals and the dopamine system yet to know whether brain altering drugs cause permanent damage.
Many RLS experts believe DAs cause permanent damage so it makes sense that anti depressants will do the same.
yes! Citalapram is an SSRI and can exacerbate RLS. I have tinnitus anyways, but within a week it was so loud I could not hear! If you have depression, ask for Wellbutrin(buproprion) Safe for RLS and did not worsen the tinnitus.
