I have signed up for a study that stimulates the vagus nerve. It is designed for stroke survivors to see if an earpiece device helps with muscle weakness caused by the stroke. Has anyone heard of this in relation to Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS)?

Yep. Quite a few studies on this. Have a look at my posts and scroll through. I've added links.I haven't tried it.
I’m in the middle of a GI workup for esophageal dysmotility and gastroparesis. The specialist says it could be from many causes, among them neurologic - vagus nerve. My RLS has been severe and I’m wondering if I should make the doc aware of this vagus /RLS connection. I’d be interested in your study findings.
Dear Keith, the vagus nerve research you mention here sounds of relevance to those of us who suffer with restless legs syndrome. I suffer from it. Is there any news yet?Merry Christmas by the way.
