Very Itchy

Does Pregabalin make you itchy??My upper body becomes very itchy after I take my 100mg Pregabalin to the point that the itchiness is setting off my legs!!

Kidney disease causes itchy skin and pregabalin is the usual treatment for it. I would say the itching is linked to your kidney damage.I have no idea why the itching starts just after you've taken pregabalin. It could be coincidental.

Do discuss with your kidney doctor.

Is it just itchy without a rash?

Yes. No rash, just itchy. But the itchiness is making my RLS worse.

Then it is not pregabalin and is probably your kidney problems.

I think Pregabalin gave me some itchiness. When I went to bed I would particularly scratch my scalp. That seems to have gone away after I stopped taking it. Itching is listed as a rare side effect.

I don't think you are alone in your assessment although mine wasn't as bad as yours but it certainly was there.

Report the itchiness to your doctor as this could be liver issues. Generally when you become itchy from taking any certain meds the bilirubin in your liver can rise which causes the itchiness so it's very important to talk to your doctor about it.
