Hard to know where to start !

The area of Stem cell therapy is changing extremely fast - there are a lot of doctors in this field and not all are equal and some a jumping leaps and bounds ahead what is best this week can be second best in a few months.

After 2 years of research and interviewing many doctors and clinics I settled on one in Antigua

I received umbilical cord stem cell therapy IV and multiple areas for back etc and exosomes sprayed into my nostrils to cross the blood brain barrier for RLS

The exosomes where free as I was part of a study for neurological disorders mostly Parkinson’s patients.

The doctor had not heard of RLS and was unsure if it would help.

unfortunately I fell Into the 20 percent who have NOT found any benefit yes it was approximately $75,000 AUS plus travel and accommodation. I had a lot of areas done

My husbands treatment was under $ 20,000 aus

My husband only had the IV and I am definitely noticing some good changes for him.

Since my treatment I caught up with a friend in NYC she told me about an another doctor Adeel Khan who is even more advanced and using other kinds of stem cells also doing fecal transplants plus exosomes and more .

He treats people on Dubai , Mexico, Toronto and Japan

My friend also suffers RLS and taking Buprenorphine she is booked for treatment with Dr Akhan next month in Japan

I have an appointment booked to discuss my previous treatment and to book treatments with himself , hopefully a very successful out come this time.

If you are interested his name is

Dr Adeel Khan

He has plenty of information on YouTube etc

I note that depending on the individual it can take days, weeks or even months to see results from regenerative treatments, so hope that you will still find it beneficial.

Thanks - you're clearly pioneering a path that most of us at present- through not having been as successful as you in business - cannot currently afford to follow. (At present I understand that this type of treatment will not be covered by e.g. US medical insurance?) Hopefully those prices will start to fall - do you have any feeling about that?

Was your treatment at the Stem Cell Medical Center in St John's? You clearly did a lot of research to separate the trustworthy from the charlatans.

You were clearly having treatment for more than one condition and I note that SCMC and others offer treatment for a range of maladies - but presumably not usually for RLS as the doctor hadn't even heard of it, but you were able to join a neurological/Parkinson's trial. (I did find a reference last week to a clinic in the US claiming success treating RLS with regenerative medicine, but offering no obvious testimonials to this effect).

I note that you write that you "unfortunately I fell Into the 20 percent who have NOT found any benefit". Does the Center (or whoever) claim that 80% have found some benefit from stem cell therapy for something based on their patient history, or is that a general 'industry' statistic?

Yes I had extensive treatments for multiple areas , the exosomes are for neurological disorders they were FDA approved and free as part of a trial.

I had interviews with the radiologist Dr Pradeep Albert who owns the clinic you mention and chose Dr Chadwick Prodromos also at St John’s however I would urge anyone interested in Stem cells to wait and see how we go with Dr Adeel Khan.

Dr Adeel Khan seems to be next level again !

My Girl friend is for booked for Stemcells for RLS she to is on Buprenorphine .She is the host of a medical TV show she is well versed and educated on all new science .

The world of stem-cells is changing rapidly and I believe it will eventually become cheaper. Stem cell tourism industry is going to explode over the next couple of years and this will help force the hands of the powers that be.

If we have success with treating RLS and it becomes a stand alone treatment then we will know the cost of treating RLS and we can work out ways to fund treatments for people . A lot of clinics do have programs for people who cannot afford treatments, firstly we need find the treatment that is successful .

Although my RLS is fully managed with Buprenorphine , I wont stop until I find the key . If stem-cells work perhaps we will also find the cause.

I hope that answers all questions

hi Shumbah,

Was the stem cell treatment for conditions other than RLS? I ask as I note from your bio that you have found buprenorphine to be really good. we all so appreciate you sharing your experiences for others to learn from.

thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have had this in mind for chronic neck pain, but wanted to have a first-hand recommendation before I gave this a shot. I’d love for you to keep updating the group on how it helped any conditions! Fascinating stuff!

Huge good luck as you go forward.A friend of mine has just had stem cell treatment for arthritis in her knees as part of an NHS trial. After three weeks she is totally pain-free and able to walk without her sticks.

That is amazing. !! Is it a one off treatment. I have heard of stem cell treatments but never known anyone who has had it done. Didn’t even know the NHS did such trials. I don’t have arthritis i was very interested on hearing that someone had such a benefit. Science is leaping forward. 😊
