Not sure whether I should be pleased or disappointed. Sleep study results

PLMD (Passive limb movement disorder) = a little twitchy in the legs at night, but nothing significant (Personal thought, I think of cats twitching during sleep – nothing to worry about?)-negligible

RLS (restless Leg Syndrome) = Willis Eckborn Syndrome =EARLS (European alliance RLS) -(personal note -unlikely, as there has been no leg movement during the day)

REM (Rapid Eye Movement-when dreaming) sleep disorder (RBD=REM behaviour disorder). Associated with particularly weird dreams. You wake up enacting the dream. Again Negligible evidence

Sleep apnea- one or two of the electrodes did not function, sometimes the equipment is “a bit hit and miss”. There is a potential for sleep apnea due to the lack of readings. The Local sleep clinic has more accurate equipment for this task. I will therefore need to pick up some equipment to monitor my sleep at home overnight. The results in the end may still be negative.

I am led to believe that tests show a small negligible issue, if marked in percentage for example, whilst there are signs present, they are well below the minimal amount.

Your pramipexole which treats both RLS and PLMD may be controlling or almost controlling your PLMD results.

Thanks Sue. I had thoughts of stress related (though found contradictory info online...It can/cant be related to stress)? Incidentally with Pram I'm finding less than half dozen events per year, as a general rule. Perhaps it's worth staying on Pram on this occasion.

BTW did you see an article on these UK daytime progs, links pregabalin and gabapentin to heart attacks (but as usual press may be scaremongering)?

If you are talking about the one about Pregabalin and addiction and also reports of death amongst Pregabalin users that was mentioned in several posts on HealthUnlocked a few days ago. It was mostly about street users and people who took it with other drugs. It is nothing to worry about for those of us who have RLS.

The final result is in, on sleep apnea. The clinic had enough information and the sleep apnea results were "unconcerning"...hooray.

Pillows

I do see a number of shaped pillows, would anyone know the recommended best for sleep apnea? (might as well protect)
