Weighted blanket

I tried out a 12 lb. weighted blanket for my PLMD. I was surprised at how effective it was. I wanted to encourage others to give it a try if they haven't.

It is hard to get used to and there are suggestions online about how to address that. Also, there are many conditions that are contraindicated so check on that too before getting one. I got one for $30.

Unfortunately, I can't use it for many reasons, one of them being poor circulation. Also, it made me feel really strange (very weak after using it for a nap). I tried to put it over only my knees down but that way it was not effective. It had to be over my whole body to work. But it might be great for a lot of people. A blanket 10% of your body weight is recommended to try out at first.

What a shame that you can't use it when you found it effective.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's a real shame you can't continue to use it, especially seeing as it worked so well ☹️
