It's an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory so it could help. No harm in trying.

I tried it, following a post on it by DicCarlson many years ago. It didn’t help.

You can use the search button to see if these old posts and replies come up. It must have been somewhere between 2016 and 2019. I can’t remember whether other people had any succes with it.

Well, here is that post. And I don't take it anymore - but it could be helpful!

I use NAC every few days for deeper sleep. It does seem to help. Anything I use loses effectiveness over a short period of time. Now when I find something that appears useful, I use no more than 2X a week to give me as many months as possible where I can be sure of getting some rest.

I use NAC twice a day, but I don’t think it helped to reduce my PLMD symptoms.

I tried NAC, it didn’t help my RLS or PLMD. It can help with other things.

Helpful to reduce oxidatise stress and the resulting inflammation but wil not eliminaye rls completely unless you stop eating the foods that cause oxidative stress like refined seed oils and processed foods.
