Daytime sedation fix suggestions?

As many of our medicines cause daytime sedation, I am interested in what has helped people, particularly supplements or food/drink--not so much medication as I don't do well on medicines. I can use caffeine and plan to try various teas, including guarana and mates, to see if they can help. Coffee and green tea is not helping me this time; it did help some the years I was on pregabalin. Thanks in advance.

You might want to try the supplement lion’s mane mushroom. I took it for a while for depression but had to stop because it made me wired. It is known to promote energy. I was dissappointed to have to discontinue it because it actually improved my RLS.
