Just wondering why the above is so much better than other iron forms for RLS? Thanks!

It's not. It is just commonly available and cheap. Many people use iron bisglycinate.

I agree with Sue, unless you’re desperate, then I would go with liquid ferrous sulfate. It’s what I use when life gets rough. BTW don’t forget Vitamin D! Vitamin D blocks Hepcidin and increases iron absorption.
