pregabain and mosquitoes!

I have been fortunate to spend time each year for the last 20 in Spain and I have rarely been bothered with bites. This year when I have been taking pregabalin for 12 months I am being badly bitten. Any comments - scientific or otherwise welcomed.

I don't think it is likely. See sciencedirect.com/science/a... and nextstepsinderm.com/derm-to... but who knows - we all react differently to medicine. And these two articles just refer to the itch, not whether you are more likely to be bit.

There have been several news articles about the increased spread and activity of mosquitoes due to recent higher global temperatures. Spain is probably warm enough to have a significant amount anyway but has also experienced some pretty extreme weather conditions in the last year or so, so it’s possible there are other factors at work.

Perhaps we will see millions of mosquitoes walking around in circles trying to stop their restless legs or wings. Serves em right I say!
