I see my GP next month and I am going to discuss taking medication to protect and strengthen my bones. I was wondering if this type of medication will exacerbate RLS.
Thank you

I'm sorry I cannot answer your question but if you are wanting to learn more about the various OP drugs available you may like to join healthunlocked.com/american... if you have not already done so. Lots of advice on exercise that can be beneficial for bones and also advice on the best supplements to take. There is also lots of good advice on the Bone health forum healthunlocked.com/bonehealth
If it is a calcium containing product just take it 2 hours apart from iron or a multivitamin if you take them. Any of the other medicines won't hurt RLS.
Merny5, is it something like Fosamax for bone strengthening? Not that I know if it has any affect on RLS.
thank you RLSlearner. I appreciate your input.
The most beneficial bone strengthening supplement you can take is Vitmin K2-mk7 with Vitamin D3. because ithelps to put the calcium in your bones instead of in your blood vesselsand other places. youtu.be/GvW7iBvPuDM
